Hi I’m Sal,  a photographer with a background in documentary film and oral history. I can’t get enough of the strange, beautiful, hilarious, and mundane things found in everyday reality. I love documenting people and the spaces in which they live, work, worship, relax, and think, and the objects that add meaning to those environments.



Outside of work, I am a reader, dog person, painter, jazz enthusiast, moviegoer, and wanderer of Portland’s neighborhoods by foot, bike, bus, and car.
